1巻発売に先駆けてのフィルム。アニメーションパートはこれからの展開への期待感に拍車をかけてくれる程、爽快でスピーディーかつミステリアスな感じに仕上がっています。CMでも御存知の曲もオープニングに見事にマッチしています。アニメーションパートは1巻の先駆けともあって少々短めでしたが、十分満足できました。(早く続きが見たくなる事必至!笑)

アニメーションパート以外では、『今までの流れていたTVCM(登場編、メッセージ編)+Webで流れていたらしい予告編+スタッフが語るフリーダムプロジェクトのメイキングと解説V』が特典として入っています。こちらも見応えたっぷりです。CM編がいつでも見られる、というのは個人的に嬉しかったです。願わくば今後のTVCMもDVD特典として付けてもらいたい!


取りあえず、1巻発売までこのDVDでフリーダムプロジェクトの予習をしつつ、期待して1巻発売日を迎えようと思います☆

やっぱ大友さんはこういう近未来を描くのが巧い。設定の細かさには脱帽です。

11月に発売される「FREEDOM1」で起きる物語の前章なので、ハッキリ言ってしまうとボリュームはあまりありません。

が、<FREEDOM>の世界にいち早く触れてみたいという方にはこの「previsited」で予習しておくといいでしよう。

オススメです。

某インスタント・ラーメンのCMで初登場した時のインパクトは、私と同じ「AKIRA」世代には強烈だったと思います。
宇多田ヒカルの「This is LOVE」をBGMに、「あの絵」が動くカッコ良さ！まさに「何が始まるんだ？！」という期待感を駆り立ててくれました。
今回の「pre-visit」版は、「公開直前○○特集」という感じですね。予告編２本（こちらはiTuneのpodcastingでダウンロード可能）と製作スタッフのインタヴューで構成されるメイキング、そして「本編」。わずか１５分の「本編」ながらも「その世界」に引き込まれます。主人公達が興じるレース・シーンのスピード感は圧倒的で、更に期待が膨らむ事必至。
ただし、この収録されたシークエンスもおそらく「FREEDOM vol.1」に含まれる範囲のものでしょうから、必ずしもこの「pre-visit」を購入する必要はないか？いや、いや。「vol.1発売が待ちきれない！」大友ファンには、とりあえず観ておきたい、「今観たい！」DVDなのでは？（比較的価格も手頃ですから）

というわけで内容的には「★３つ」ですが（正直中途半端！）、「今、発売された」意義を考慮して「★４つ」としましょうか。
