いつからロックンロールは考え込むようになったのだろうか・・・と思うことすら、うざい。うきうきするという幼稚園児並みの楽しさをほんといとも簡単に忘れてしまう。そして、踊ることすらできないままに年をとり、老いさらばえていく。ああ、これじゃ安易な大人の一丁あがってもんだ。でもさ、そうじゃないだろと。この持て余すパワーあるだろと。無意味で置き所のない、溢れる情熱とやらが。ああ、最もださくてかっこわるいことばだけど、かっこわるるいはかっこいいをさらに何回転かして、ここに最も凶暴で最も愉快なロックロールが誕生する。何だよこのセンスと声、反則。

髭が人間味を帯びてきた！と思った。もちろん、いい意味で。
前作「I Love Rock’n Roll」では、かなり意味深すぎて理解不能な歌詞に、打ち込み系の音も相俟って、非常に感情というものが見えずらいバンドだった。
しかし、今回のアルバムでは、「きみ」という人称が多用された歌詞や、より生に近い音になったことで、リスナーとの距離をぐっと縮めたように思う。
そんな風に「人間っぽく」なりながらも、肝心の「髭っぽさ」がちっとも失われていなくて、そこがこのバンドの底力なのだと思い知らされる。
音を保守するのではなくて、何度も脱皮を繰り返しながら昇華していく。ロックバンドのありかたの理想ではないだろうか？　
「せってん」「ヒサシ.カリメロ」「ロックンロールと五人の囚人」は名曲。歌詞がとても優しい。朝の電車でうっかり泣きそうになったよ！
「髭」というバンド名にちょっと買うのを躊躇っている人がいたら、私はその人の背中をレジに向けておもいきり押し出したい。
ポップでサイケでメロウでクールなカラフルロックここにあり。

髭のきざむ音はノリやすくアップテンポであったり、メロウな感じの曲であったり聞いて本当センスがあると思った。歌詞もぶっ飛んでてまさに髭WORLDって感じが良い。髭ちゃんの歌い方がなんとなくoasisのリアムに似てる感じ。今の日本にこんな多才なバンドはいないと思った。日本のサルマネのようなロックなんか聞いてられるか!って人も納得の一枚だと思います。
