CROSSOVER JAPAN'05 のサブステージセッションで彼女を知りました。
彼女の創る楽曲はとてもメロディアスで心地よく、フュージョン寄りのアレンジ
にもフィットしていて、最近のお気に入りになっています。

このライブDVDはそんな小林香織の今を見せてくれます。
演奏のテクニックにはまだまだ未熟さを感じますが、村上"ポンタ"秀一 ら
超ベテランにも気圧されることなくリラックスして楽しんでるところが立派です
ね。いい意味で緊張感のないゆったりした感覚で見ることが出来ます。
惜しむらくは収録。いまどき4:3のレターボックスはないだろう。 カメラワーク
も平面的で、画質もいまいち。音声ももうちょっとタイトな方が聴きやすい。
予算との兼ね合いなのでしょうが、そこが残念でした。

予備知識もないままジャケ買いしたのですが、その後も特に知らないまま繰り返し見ていた作品です。印象に残るのはソロに集中していく姿で特に後半はなかなかのもの。容姿も良く合間にダンスする姿もアイドル性がありますが、長尺のソロを飽きさせずに聞かせるところは才能と努力の賜物。STB139の雰囲気も良く、程よい熱気もある好LIVE作品です。

｢かおりん｣の魅力満載のＤＶＤです。買って損はありません。
彼女のエモーショナルなアルトサウンドは、ライブでこそ艶やかさを増しますね。
サポートメンバーの素晴らしい演奏も存分に楽しめますので、一枚で二度美味しいＤＶＤと言えるでしょう。
アンコールでは脚線美も披露してくれて、ビジュアルなポイントもしっかり押さえています。
全編どの曲も最高なのですが、個人的にはステージのラストを飾る“Ｓｏｌａｒ(Ｍｉｎｏｒ　Ｖｅｒｓｉｏｎ)”が一番のお気に入りになりました。
ポップなオリジナルバージョンとは違って、哀愁漂うメロウ且つジャジーな曲に変身しています。
機会があれば是非、かおりんのライブを見に行きたいと思います。首都圏ばかりではなく｢ブルーノート大阪｣にも来てくださ〜い！
