ロバート・プラントがグラミーを取った記念に、自分が一番好きなRプラントがソロになった後のレビューを書いちゃいます。
私もおやじなのでこのアルバムも発売された時にオン・タイムに買ったのですが、初め聞いたときどこが良いのか分かりませんでした。当然ツェッペリン好きのせいでもあり、どうしても比較しちゃったのでしょうが・・・。ところがこのアルバム聴けば聴くほど味が出る、まるでするめのように味が出るのです。特にIn the Mood 、 Big Log (ビデオも渋かった！）、 Thru' with the Two Step などは特に気持ちが良いです。ハードではないけれど大人と言う感じです。幸運にも当時のこのツアーを米国で見ることが出来たのですが（ドラムは当然フィル・コリンズ！）、ファンは当然のようにツェッペリンの曲を期待していましたが、残念ながら一曲もやりませんでした。ただ終わった後もファンも興奮という感じではありませんが、満足という感じで余韻に浸っていました。
ツェッペリンを追い求めて購入するのとがっくりくるでしょうが、ロバート・プラントの違った魅力を感じることができるアルバムです。

ＺＥＰ解散後のＲ・プラント２枚目のソロだ。

解散当時、もはや新しいツェッペリンのサウンドは聞くことができないのかと気をもんでいたが、ペイジ、プラントとソロアルバムを出し始めた。

１枚目のソロの「１１時の肖像」は印象に残らないアルバムだったが、このアルバムはＺＥＰ色も気にせず、ロバート・プラントが肩の力を抜いて作った、そんな感じのするアルバムといえる。

中でも「Ｏｔｈｅｒ　Ａｒｍｓ」「Ｉｎ　ｔｈｅ　Ｍｏｏｄ」「Ｂｉｇ　Ｌｏｇ」などはとてもいい曲だと思う。

だが、「ＺＥＰの」という冠がないと評価されないのがかわいそうな気がする。逆に言えばＺＥＰ同レベル、あるいはそれ以上のサウンドを仕上げるだけの力がもうなかったのかという感じもする。

１９８３年リリース・・・アルバムチャート最高位：全英７位全米８位と知り、正直ビックリしました。２００７年の一夜限りの再結成のおり、何気なくリイシューされていたロバートプラントのソロ作品の数々・・・その中でも私的に聴いてみたかったのが、このセカンドでした！！（実は、いままで聴いた事がなかったという！！）基本的に前作と同じメンバーと制作されているので、音の変化はない印象です・・・コージーパウエル（Ｄｒ）が参加していましたね！！メンバーは、ロビーブラント（Ｇ）・ジェズウッドロフ（Ｋｅｙ）・ポールマルティネス（Ｂ）・フィルコリンズ（Ｄｒ）・バリーモアバーロウ（Ｄｒ：４＆７）・・・私は、ロバートプラントよりもフィルの参加で欲しかったのも正直な所（いいドラマーを使うよね、流石！！）。曲は一般受けするものではなく、時代を考えればかなりストイックでタイトなものです・・・この声ですからやはりＺＥＰになってしまいますよね、どんな曲でも（笑）。とにかくロビーブラントのギターが渋いので、アルバム全体は本当地味ですね・・・ただし曲を演出するキーボードがプログレッシヴな雰囲気を醸しだすので、独特のテンションがあるのも見逃せません（フィルコリンズもいるし！）。個人的に、２曲目「ＩＮ　ＴＨＥ　ＭＯＯＤ」は大収穫・・・ミディアムテンポで隙間を生かしたクールな曲調が、とにかく最高（フィルのタイトなドラムも◎）！！ボーナストラック９〜１１は、１９８３年９月２０日ヒューストンでのライブ音源（Ｄｒは勿論フィル！！）・・・１２は、このアルバムセッションの未発表曲。どうせならこの１９８３年のライブを、まるまるアルバム化して欲しかったよなあ！！このモノクロのジャケットは、アナログで欲しいですね・・・ＺＥＰファンは勿論でしょうが、参加メンバーで購入しても価値あるアルバムだと思います。
