１９８２年リリースのレッドツェッペリン解散後のファーストアルバム・・・このボーカルあってのレッドツェッペリンだったんだなあと再認識させられた１枚！！（メンバー４人の誰が欠けてもバンドとして成立しない、凄いバンドだったんだなあ！！）このアルバムはまさにＺＥＰを踏襲した内容で、曲・サウンド等そのものと言った内容です。ただソングライティングが弱いので、全体的に地味な印象でこれと言った曲がありません。曲のほとんどがギターのロビーブラントとの共作で、かなりロビーもジミーペイジを意識した印象なのですが、やはりペイジ特有のダイナミズムが感じられません。（ペイジが偉大過ぎる！！）曲というよりも、ロバートの声・ドラムに耳が入ってしまうんですよね。メンバーは、ロバープラント（Ｖｏ）・ロビーブラント（Ｇ：シルヴァーヘッド）・ポールマルチネス（Ｂ：ペイス・アシュトン＆ロード）、そしてフィルコリンズ（Ｄｒ）・コージーパウエル（Ｄｒ）・・・そりゃ、ドラムを聴いてしまいます（笑）、コージーは４曲目・７曲目に参加！！フィルコリンズのドラムは非常にタイトで、やはり巧いですしかっこいい！！コージーパウエルは２曲のみですが彼らしいドラムスタイルで、とにかく楽しかったのでは。もし弦隊が強力な別なメンバーであれば、凄いアルバムに大化けしていたのではないでしょうか・・・ロビーのギターは渋すぎる！！それにしてもロバートの声は、唯一無二ですねえ。持ってて損はないアルバムです！！
