いやあ、またすごいアルバムです。
アルバムトータルで、聴いていて耳障りじゃなく、かといって、流れ去ってしまうだけの音楽でもない。
相変わらず、聴けば聴くほど味の出るスルメのようなアルバム。本当にイイ意味で不思議なバンドです。

曲構成はシングル曲が結構多いですが、全体的にそんなにばらつきは感じられないです。
ゆっくり入ってくるイントロから切なく歌い上げる１曲目や、ミステリアスな２曲目なんかはもう、いかにも「黄昏」な感じが音にも現れていてゾクゾクさせられます。
他にも、キャッチーでいかにもシングルといった「今宵エデンの片隅で」のような曲や、”私は鬼です　鬼ですから”のフレーズが鳥肌モノの「かくれんぼ」、さらには「マージナルマン」のような爽やかな曲が違和感なく同居しているのが、いかにもガーネットな感じです。
ガーネット節炸裂の王道バラード「春待つ花のように」もいいですね。

とりあえず今日から毎日聴いちゃうアルバムになりました。

楽曲の完成度の高さは相変わらずで、流石の一言に尽きます。
収録曲の構成も単調にならず、飽きの来ない仕上りです。
多彩な曲調で、ガーネットクロウを楽しめるこの1枚は
「mini Best」あるいは、「Best+」といった感じでしょうか。
決してリスナーの期待を裏切ることの無い、最高の1枚だと思います。

GARNET CROW の曲は、その完成度の高さも然る事ながら、非常に文学的な雰囲気が漂っていて、どこか他のアーティストとは一線を画しているように感じます。愛とか恋とか、例えばそんな大きすぎる概念をそのまま扱うことはなく、日常の些細な場面からそれを感じさせるような。Opheliaとか、ノヴァーリスなんて言葉がさりげなく使われているのも面白いと思いました。そのAZUKIさんの歌詞に、中村さんの飾らない、神秘的な歌声が魅力を十全に惹きたてていて、芸術と呼ぶに相応しいものになっています。決して色褪せることのない、何度聴いても飽きない曲ばかりなので、買って損はないと思います。
