夏の終わりと、秋の訪れを感じさせる叙情感溢れる穏やかで優しいメロディにのせ、YUIが歌うのは映画「タイヨウのうた」のあの景色と｢雨音薫｣と、、、その後のYUI自身の心境の変化。作詞作曲はもちろんYUIの手によるもの。甘くほろにがさを感じるメロディに反して、次のステージへ向かって手をふるYUIの芯の強さを感じさせる仕上がりになっている。
3曲目には｢Good-bye days 〜YUI Acoustic Version〜｣の弾き語りによる新録があるのも嬉しいところ。

「タイヨウのうた」の主題歌が大ヒットしたＹＵＩさんの新曲です。
いつもすごくいい詩をかかれるのですが、今回もよかったです。
さよならは悪いことじゃない、と思わされました。
曲の感じも好きでした。

この曲I remember youは、映画「タイヨウのうた」の正しくその後を歌った名曲です。
電子楽器音を押さえてアコースティック色を出した演奏が素晴らしいです。
で、このＣＤには、Good-bye daysのアコースティックバージョンが収録されています。
個人的に、シングルバージョンより映画の路上弾き語りバージョンの方が好きなので、
この収録はI remember youよりも貴重で魅力的でした。
ＹＵＩのシングルパターンは、前回の曲のアコースティックバージョンをおまけに収録する
というリリースが続いています。
本来のＹＵＩらしさが出ている演奏でとても好感が持てますね！！
