Fair Warningの記念すべきデビューアルバムの。。。
商品リンクを見ても良くわかりませんが、デジタルリマスター版です。

Fair Warningは、一度聴いたら忘れられない、
初めて聴いてもワンコーラス聴いたらツーコーラス目からは
一緒にハモれるほどの強力なインパクトを持つ
美しくキャッチーなメロディラインが特徴のバンドです。
ですが、ヴォーカルやリズム隊がパワフルで
ギターも前面に押し出ており、時にテクニカルで
ナヨナヨした雰囲気は少なく、しっかりロックしております。

いままで、デビュー作は曲は良いけど、録音状態が良くなかったのか、
全体的にこもった感じの音質でしたが
今回のデジタルリマスターにより、全体的に、全音域を通じてクリアになり
感動的に音質が向上しています。

良い音楽は、良い音質で聴きたいものですね。

ZENOを母体として結成されたFAIR WARNINGの名盤1stアルバム。
説明も不要な程の名曲ぞろいで、本作をきっかけに日本ではブレイクした訳だが、
この再発盤では新たに新曲｢Hold Me｣が加えられている。
新曲といってもこのアルバムの制作当時に録音されたもので、HELGE作曲のナンバーだ。
どこかZENOを思わせる曲で、おそらくアルバムに収録すると雰囲気が浮いてしまうということで、収録を見合わせていたのではないかと思われる。
ギターソロもHELGE本人のプレイで、ワウを含ませたスカイギターが高らかに歌い上げるこの当時のHELGEにしてはなかなかのソロではないか…

またリマスターをしたことにより、格段に音質が向上しているのも特筆するべき点であろう。
どこかこもりぎみだったサウンドがより明確になり、ハッキリ言って3rdアルバムのGOよりも良い音になっている。(GOも再発の際にリマスターして欲しかった…)

因みに、エルビスのアコースティックナンバー｢In The Getto｣も収録られているが、こちらは来日記念盤で発売されたミニアルバム収録バージョンをリマスターしたもの。
