人見元基氏に「ヘヴィメタルシンガーとして…」と質問すると
「せめてハードロックと言って欲しい」といやな顔をされたという。
この一文が表す通り，彼らはハードロックをやっていた。決して
ヘヴィメタルではないのを先にことわっておく。
伝説のシンガー「人見元基」。ミックスヴォイスとチェストヴォイス
の上手さ，迫力，説得力，繊細なヴィブラート，加えてあの凄まじい
声域…。
彼の歌唱を褒めたたえる言葉はいくつあっても足りないが，その彼の
歌が最も楽しめるのはライヴ音源に他ならない。願わくば「Shock Waves」
「Cry No More」といった傑作バラードを収録してほしかったが。

　心地良いヘビ・メタだ。
　知ってるようで知らない，知らないようで知ってる，そんなバンドではないだろうか「VOW WOM」。あのエフ・ワンのアイルトン･セナを起用した石油会社のコマーシャルにも使われていたから知ってる人も多いだろう。あれが日本では大ヒットした切っ掛けになったのだが，その前からも海外で活躍していて，イイ曲は沢山有る。勿論英語なので意味は分からないが，ノリはノリノリで，言う事なし。特にこの「ハード･ロック･ナイト」は抜群にイイ。とにかくいい。ベビー･メタルでも日本人に合うベビー･メタルとでも言おうか，とにかく，合うのである。ギャンギャン煩いだけではない。聴かせてくれるハーモニーと言うか，メロディーラインが凄く日本人に馴染むものになっている。こんないいバンドがあまり知られていないというのはとてもとても残念だ。
