やっと待ちに待った完全版がでました。
コージーパウエルのドラムソロが入っていなければ
このライヴの完成はなかったように思います。
自分が高校生の頃に初めて聴いた
このライヴがいまでも心の中に残っていて
ハードロックの中のベストアルバムと
言えるでしょう。

前半は「神」からの選曲、後半は「神話」からの選曲が中心になっており、
当時の公演曲順どおりです。
マイケルのプレーはスタジオ盤に忠実で、とてもハイテンションです。
今になって思えば、短期間ながらコージーがこのバンドに在籍していたという
事自体が夢の様でした。
コージーは当日風邪気味だったらしく、彼のベストプレーとは言いがたいですが、
パワフルなドラム音が終始雷鳴の如く響き続けています。
ドラムソロのみは大阪での録音に差し替えられていますが、
そんな事はどうでもよく、入魂のドラミングを心で聴いてほしい一枚です。

マイケル・シェンカーとコージー・パウエルの夢の競演！が
実現した名作。随所で見せるマイケルの泣き節、というか、
メロディアスかつハードなギターはまさに天下一品です。
演奏曲も、名作揃いの２ｎｄアルバムから多くチョイスされて
おり、申し分ありません。
コージーの体調がすぐれなかったため、ドラムスは万全の出来では
ありませんが、それでも地響きがするような凄まじい音が伝わって
きます。ＭＳＧ史上最強のラインナップの名に恥じない出来です。
