新生リベラの新しいソリスト、コーラスに合わせて、歌詞もテンポもアレンジも変わって、既発アルバムに収録された曲がニューヴァージョンとなって生まれ変わり多数収録されました。さらにドヴォルザークの『ゴーイング・ホーム(通称「家路」)』、『サイレント・ナイト』を新曲として収録。日本盤のみ『彼方の光』新プロモーション・クリップ映像を収録。

【アーティストについて】
プロデューサー、ロバート・プライズマンによりオーディションで選ばれた少年たちにより1999年結成。すでに4枚のオリジナル・アルバムを発売、日本へも2度の来日公演をはたしているが06年1月に放送されたNHK土曜ドラマ「氷壁」の主題歌に「彼方の光」が使用され一躍注目度を高めた。

素晴らしいです、リベラ関連のＣＤ全部持っていますが、
また新しい歌声が聴けました。
イメージ的に初代AngelVoicesと比較しながら楽しめます。
生のオンステージ中々聴けないですが、このアルバムで
また新しい歌声が聴けると思うと嬉しいです。
これからもずーっと聴いていける音楽の宝です。

とても美しくて他のアルバムで聴いた歌でも新しいメンバーが歌うとまた違った魅力があります。「彼方の光」美しかったです。「サンクトゥス」アルバム「libera」の時のリーアム君の可愛い声も良かったですが、こちらの方も良かったです。「サルヴァ・メ」はセリフが無し。「アヴェマリア」も美しかったです。とても綺麗で好きです。それから「いつもあなたのそばにいるから」は「私のお墓の前で泣かないで…」という歌詞だったんですね。私は「free」を輸入版で買っていたので日本語訳の歌詞がなくて判りませんでした。改めて聴くと良かったです。ベン・クローリーが作詞に参加している9番の曲もよかったです。「visions」の時とはまた印象が違う曲になっているそうです(私はまだvisionsを手に入れていません)「生まれくる日」の様に囁く声で歌うのもリベラだけしかいないのでは?って感じですね。「誓い〜ジュピター(新ver)」「Be still my soul(アルバムfreeと同じ曲)」も良いです。全体的にどの曲も気に入っています。中でも特に「ゴーイングホーム」が好きです。元々「新世界」の曲が好きだったので…。DVDはプロモとなっています。私はPVらしくなっている1〜4よりただ歌っている姿を映す「彼方の光」の様な映像の方がいいなと思いました。歌う姿がやはり見たいので。勿論どの映像もよかったです。「松明」を持って歩く姿やソロの子がほぼメインで歌っていたり(PVらしく作られていますが…)私は自然に全員で歌う「彼方の光」のPVが良かったです。リベラ!って感じで(笑)もう一つの「彼方の光」PVも素敵でした。比較的新しいPVの方がやはり鮮明な映像で撮れている気がしました。リベラの皆ってこんな感じなんだなって思えて良かったと思います☆

ＣＤショップでたまたま流れていた歌声があまりに綺麗で購入しました。心が洗われる様な歌声とは、まさに彼らの歌声のことでしょう。Pureで透き通る様なコーラスを目を閉じて聞き入っていると、天空から綺麗な光が降りてきて、その光に包まれるような錯覚を覚えます。今ではリラックスしたい時や寝る時に欠かせないBGMです。
