ヒップホップ、ロック、ダブなどジャンルミックスミュージックとでも言うのでしょうか。ただデーモン・アルバーンの手によって、聴きやすいけどとても味わいがいのある「含みの多いポップミュージック」に仕上がっている作品です。また食傷しないポップ加減というのかバランス感がいいです。彼のこういう才能をより世間に印象付けたアルバムとも言えるかもしれません。

スタイリッシュで抜け感が心地良いサウンドに引っかかりのある色付けや独特のムードが施されていて、ついついクセになってしまうんですよね。ツボを押されます。

ゴリラズのオリジナルアルバムは二枚発表されていますが、こちらのアルバムのほうが個人的には気に入ってます。ありそうであまりない音楽なのでハマる人にはたまらないんじゃないでしょうか。

ポップなデ-モンのヴォーカルに、HIPHOPのノリと民族音楽のエキゾチズムが絶妙のバランスで融合した、脱力系とも癒し系とも違う何ともいえない味つけになっている。

陽気さとダークさを併せ持つ独特の世界が奥深い。

全体的にノリはユルいので、天気のいい日に散歩しながら聴くのにピッタリなアルバムだ。
