インターネットのあるサイトでロックを視聴しまくっていたときにシドバレットの暗黒の世界が流れてきました。その瞬間衝撃を受けました。自分が欲していた音はこれだと。そしてＣＤを購入し家で改めて聞いてみると本当に感動の一言でした。うつろな目でギターを爪弾きながら不安定な感情を吐き出しているような、常人の目には見ることができない世界で歌っているような、限りなく不安定で美しい音楽でした。

何だろう、このクセになる音は・・・

プレイ１回目、失敗した。こんな退屈なCD！
　　　 ３回目、・・ン？いい曲もあるじゃん。
　　　 ７回目、この不安定なボーカル、落ち込んだ気分に合うかも・・
　　 10回目、・・・クセになりました。

最近シド・バレットの追悼記事をそこかしこで目にするので
興味本位で買ってしまいました。
結果ラッキー。

ピンク・フロイドのファーストの音を期待してたけど
見ている世界が違います。

なんだか狂っちゃった人という印象が強いシドさん、
たしかにこのアルバムでも相当壊れているのですが
曲自体は非常に心地良い変な浮遊感がある弾き語りです。
独特なボーカルがとてもサイケデリックです。
このだらだらしたぐんにゃり感がいいですね。
