この巻ではドレイクこと風間大介とゴンの別れ、そして新ライダー・サソードの登場が描かれます。ドレイクに関しては以前辛口の評価をしましたが、この巻ではカブトとのコンビネーションもあり、ストレートにかっこいいと言えます。他にもホロリとくる場面もあり、ドレイクファンには見逃せない内容となっています。
そしてサソード。変身前からかなりぶっとんだキャラクターですが、私的にデザインはかなり気に入っています。シャドームーン、王蛇など悪のライダーの系譜に連なる、禍々しさの中にも美しさを感じさせるかっこよさです（サソードは別に悪役ではありませんが）。是非一度ご覧になってみてはいかがでしょう？

影山がますます最悪のキャラに…｡ゴンを誘拐して、大介･ドレイクにカブトを倒せと脅迫し出す始末です(汗)まぁ三島の命令ですけどね…。
そのおかげ(って言うのか?)で、ゴンは記憶を取り戻しますが、逆に大介との思い出を忘れてしまう……。別れ際のシーンが、「ホントに忘れちまったんだな…」っと物悲しく感じました…。大介とゴンは名コンビだったのにな〜…

「神に代って剣を振るう男」こと仮面ライダーサソードの資格者･神代剣と、天道に唯一敬語を使わせる偉大な御人(笑)･じいやが初登場♪
何かと金持ちぶりをアピールし嫌な感じのキャラで、ZECTに雇われている剣･サソードですが、彼がワーム全滅を誓うには理由があり、そこはなかなか共感できるかな｡でも、剣が最も倒したい仇･スコルピオワームがまさか○○だというのは皮肉でしょうね……

このDVDに収録されている話は、皆さんご存知、大介とゴンの別れがある話です。
特撮でこんなに、泣いたのはカブトが、初めてでした。
その話が終わったら、サソードこと神代剣が登場してきます。
この時は総司と並ぶ俺様係だったのに、その後はすっかりお笑い担当になってしまいます。
まだ俺様系だった剣を観たいなら、このDVDしかないと思います。
