2006 Debut Album from the Glaswegian Trio that have Constructed a Wall of Sound Similar to Many Bands of the 70's Glam Era Mixed with the Excitement of Early Stray Cats, Sex Pistols and Fellow Countrymen the Proclaimers...all Turned Up to 11!!! They Are Mince, Barry and Jon Fratelli. As Jon Fratelli Said, "i Think We Bump Cleverly. We Bump Stuff from Everywhere Rather Than One Place. If You Bump from One Place You're Gonna Get Found Out. We Bump from all Over the Place and Stick it Together Again. So it Can Sound a Bit Original I Suppose. Actually, I Don't Know If it Sounds Original. But it Doesn't Bore Me".

気に入れば何でも受け入れてしまうという様なタイプの音楽ファンですが、こんなに陽気な気分にさせてくれる
曲たちに久々に出会いました。どの曲聞いても心うきうき、、バックにかけておけば、仕事だってなんだってバンバンこなせてしまう、、アップテンポでウォーキング、、そしてそのうち覚えて歌いたくなるような、、新人のようですが彼らは最高ですね。

懐かしいのに新しい、という感じでしょうか。
最近にしては珍しく奇をてらった部分がなく、
ストレートに楽しく、弾けた良い曲ばかりですね。

レビューと考えるとどうしてもアルバムの内容を知らない人に対して
「どんな感じ」かを伝えるために、”誰それみたい”とか”何々調”などと
既存のアーティストに例えたり、ジャンル分けをするわけですが、
ロック・ポップスファンに間違いなく、違和感なしに受け入れられるだろうに
このバンドを何かに例えるのはなかなか難しいです。

軽やかな音触りだけど薄っぺらくなく、
陽気だけど頭悪そうでもなく、
ロックンロールの初期やカントリー風な香りもあるけど、
古臭さや田舎臭さはない...
色々書いてはみましたが、理屈抜きで楽しい、
「だから音楽聴くのは、やめられんな」という感じです。

オリジナリティはあるけど変にクセがなく、
一発で気に入った人も、聴くごとにじわじわっときた人も
いつまでも、いつまでも聴き続ける愛聴盤になることでしょう。

圧倒的なポップ･サウンドを武器に１stアルバムでいきなりUKアルバム・チャートで２位を獲得してしまったグラスゴー出身の３Pバンド。 　　　

アークティック・モンキーズやリバティーンズが引き合いに出されるサウンドを持つこのロック・バンドを結成しているのは、ジョン・フラテリ、ミンス・フラテリ、バリー・フラテリの３人。 　　　
全員が「フラテリ」姓を名乗っていますが、赤の他人です。ラモーンズ的発想。

ポップで印象的なフレーズが多いのに、ズッシリ重めの音、ってゆうミスマッチ感が絶妙!

聴いてるだけで元気になれそうな曲ばかりでシングル曲のM5.Chelsea Daggerはライブで♪トゥ・トゥ・ル・ル〜♪の大合唱間違いなし！
