正直ジェットがここまで圧倒的なクオリティのセカンドを
作ってくるだなんて誰が予想できただろうか。
一発屋だなんてとんでもない。剛球一直線の超王道サウンド。
スタジアムバンドとしての風格すら漂わせる
有無を言わさぬ名曲揃いである。
ロックファンならこの作品は迷わず買いである。

確かに目新しい要素は何もない。
でもそれがどうしたって言うんだろう？
ロックのかっこよさを凝縮した最高の作品である。
「Are you gonna be my girl」は大ヒットとなったが、
同時に一部ロック・ファンには敬遠される作品でもあった。
だけど、今作は違う。前作の確信犯的なあざとさは皆無。
ただただスケールの大きいグッドメロディが
たおやかに鳴り響いている。
特に驚いたのがミドル〜スローの曲が素晴らしいこと。
ノエル・ギャラガー作かと思ってしまうぐらい
すごい曲が含まれている！

彼らは今年のフジロックのステージでも
最高のパフォーマンスを見せてくれた。
この新曲群をひっさげてのライブはとんでもないものに
なりそう。今から観客の大合唱が目に浮かぶようである。

食わずぎらいだった方も騙されたと思って
今作は聴いてみてください。

　前作のシングル「アー・ユー・ゴナ・ビー・マイ・ガール」が好きな人は、迷わず買い！　正直、その曲だけの一発屋だと思ってたし、『ゲット・ボーン』は、「アー・ユー〜」と「ルック・ホワット・ユーヴ・ダン」以外は大して聴いてなかったけど、今作は全っ然違う。捨て曲一切なし（邦盤のボーナス・トラックは蛇足だが）。

　基本は前作と同じ。ただし何倍もパワーアップしている。ＡＣ／ＤＣとストーンズとビートルズとツェッペリンを躊躇なく足しまくった素晴らしさ。ハードでアップテンポな曲とバラード曲が半々くらいの配分で、正直もっとハードな曲を増やしてほしい気もするが、このバラード曲が素晴らしく良い！　ギャラガー兄弟が泣いて悔しがりそうな、ビートルズ節全開。オアシス程わかり易いビートルズ節じゃなく、よりによって『サージェント・ペパーズ・ロンリー・ハーツ・クラブ・バンド』とかの。アップテンポな曲も、ただパンキッシュにハードなだけでなく、リズムがファンキーで腰にクるグルーヴ感がある。「ファンキー」とか「グルーヴ」とか書くと何かマニア向けな感じがするけど、全っ然違うから。エアロスミスやボン・ジョヴィと同等の、誰もが楽しめるロックン・ロールだ。実際、エアロスミスやチープ・トリックを彷彿とさせる曲もある。もうね、変化球なしで、剛速球の超ど真ん中のみって感じ。

　前作が約４００万枚売れたんなら（まだ売れてるか）、今作は１０００万枚は行くんじゃないか！？

ハズレがない。どれをシングルカットしてもいいくらいと某雑誌に書いてありましたが納得です。確にオアシスっぽいと思う所、ARE YOU GONNA BE MY GIRLに勝る曲はないかもしれませんが、全体的にみると1stより良くできています。
