This limited edition features replica miniature gatefold LP sleeve packaging and two previous unheard bonus tracks ("Anyway" and "Funny"). Terry Reid would probably have been more famous if he hadn't turned down the slot of lead singer for Led Zeppelin in 1968 to pursue his own unique musical path. Featuring David Lindley on guitar, River blends the heavy rock sounds of the early Jeff Beck Group (Truth and Beck-Ola) with the folky vibe of "acoustic" Led Zeppelin (Led Zep III) and Tim Buckley. Terry Reid's highly melodic songwriting and scintillating vocals distinguish him from his peers. Limited edition of 2500. Water. 2006.
