ドナルド・フェイゲンとウォルター・ベッカーがスティーリー・ダンのデビュー・アルバム『キャント・バイ・ア・スリル』の一年前に制作したリチャード・プライヤー主演映画のサウンドトラック(71年)。若さゆえの(?)荒々しさなどがあるもののバンド・アンサンブルなどにスティーリー・ダン・サウンドの萌芽が感じられ、ファンには堪えられない内容になっています。スティーリー・ダンのギタリストとなるデニー・ダイアズも参加。

幻のサウンドトラックがCD化されたことは喜ばしいですが、この値段ではおすすめしません。8曲でたった30分です。インストが数曲ありますし、Fagenがメインで歌っている曲は１曲です。曲も適当に作っています。例のデビュー前のデモシリーズの延長だと想像してもらえれば、大体わかると思います。
私は、数年前にこれを購入して、数回しか聞いていません。
