全体的に楽しめた作品です。
ただ、反応値の低いキャラを前衛に配置すると高確率で不意打ちにあいますし、ダンジョンでのエンカウントも非常に高いので、あまりスムーズに物語を進められるとは言い難いかも知れません。
私は何度かコントローラーを投げそうになりました。

サブイベントや隠しボスも豊富でいいのですが、仲間になったサブキャラは、たとえ仲間にしてもイベントなどではその姿が出てきませんし、基本的に初期メンバー３人だけしか映りません。私はその部分がちょっとさびしかったですね。
せっかく仲間になったのだからきちんとイベントグラフィックも用意してほしかったです。

とはいえ、やはりワイルドアームズの魅力の一つは、キャラたちそれぞれの抱えている過去を深く掘り下げてくれるところや、そのキャラ達が織り成す人間模様だと思います。

過去作のリメイク？（FはFakeの意味もあるらしいので）となっていますが、私は古さを大して感じませんでした

1→戦闘中でも装備変更が可能
F→装備品が無い。3で出来たスキルの付け替えが不可に

フォースアビリティ
1→キャラに4つずつ
F→キャラにひとつだけ

マテリアル
1→装備したミーディアムを全員が使える
F→ミーディアムが装備できなくなり、ヒロイン専用技になった

魔法
1→移動中に魔法が使える
F→移動中に魔法が使えない (4や5のように戦闘終了後に全快しないのでアイテム消費が激しくなる)

テレポート（ドラクエでいうルーラ）
1→魔法なので何回も使える
F→テレポートジェムというアイテム化（消耗品）

システムは3を流用しており、全体的に1の爽快感がなくなったリメイク。
技や魔法も減っている、回復アイテムも購入出来るのは状態異常治療系のみと制限が厳しい
しかもMP消費システムに戻ったのに何故かマジックキャロットは無いまま

ストーリーは気に入っているのでこの評価にしました。映像が気にならないなら1のほうがいいです

新作５thが発売されるため、５thの宣伝も兼ね廉価版として再発売されたWAシリーズ。その中でもこのＦは特にお勧めです。隠しボス、サブイベント、パズルなど全部まわっていると(あくまで私の場合ですが）総プレイ時間100時間を超えますので、ＲＰＧとしては長く遊べます。このお値段で、このボリュームは私的には満足でした。
内容的には王道ですが、シビアな中にもどことなくほのぼのさせるところもあり良いと思います。個人的にはザックとエルミナの切ない関係に涙したり、ムードメーカーのジェーンの裏の事情に感動したり・・・・。ただヒロインは巫女・特別な血筋・王妃とため息が出るほど台本通りの設定＆セリフなので、かなり浮いていて、違和感バリバリ。好き嫌いが分かれそうです（個人的にはジェーンの方がヒロインに向いているかと）。
システム的には「不意打ち」にかなり問題ありかと思います。このゲーム、異様に不意打ちされる確率が高いです（ダンジョン・ABYSS内とかlv100でエンカウントキャンセルしても酷い時は平均1分に1回は不意打ちされる程）。特に不意打ちで個人が狙われ、そのキャラがやられてしまうと他5人生きていてもゲームオーバーになるという理不尽なシステムはマイナスポイント。

その他多数の隠しボス、サブイベント、（グラフィック的には良くありませんが）長いイベントムービー等盛り沢山。ただ、ダンジョンなどの謎解きが難しいので、攻略本・攻略サイト等を参考にしたほうがいいでしょう。全体的に出来は良いので、廉価版ですし、ぜひお勧めします。
