全英２４位を記録しファンの間でも最高傑作の呼び声が高い捨て曲なしの名盤。当時このアルバムのツアーでは８以外すべて演奏されたほどでそのライヴの模様はＴｈｅ　Ｒｉｖｅｒ　Ｓｅｓｓｉｏｎｓで聴ける。さらに２００５年には発売２０周年記念ツアーも行われたほど。未だにライヴで本作から多く演奏され１と３は必ず演られる。至宝の声の持ち主ボブ・カトレイの歌を中心にバックが曲を盛り立てる。ソロはほとんど短いながらもトニー・クラーキンのへヴィなギター・リフとマーク・スタンウェイのキーボードの２人がやはり演奏の中心。非常に聴きやすいが決して売れ線を狙っているわけではない。これまで本国でしかあまり知られていなかったマグナムの名をヨーロッパ中に知らしめた１枚。マグナムを初めて聴く人にも勧められる１枚。
