彼女達が全米で発売したアルバムにしてピンクレディー最高傑作のアルバム。
70年代のディスコ・サウンドを見事に取り入れて思わず踊りだしたくなる。
全米ビルボードチャート37位までいった『KISS IN THE DARK』をはじめどの曲もシングルカットしてもおかしくない出来である。

彼女達の後にアルバムを全米で発売したアーティストは多々いるがどれも失敗に終わっているのであるからいかに彼女達がアメリカでも人気を得たのがわかる気がする。

残念ながら当時はアイドルがゆえに日本のマスコミからバッシングされたが、ピンクレディーだから出来た偉業であるので是非再評価してほしいアルバムです。

海外で製作されたアルバムなので日本人プロデューサーなどの思惑が一切混じっていない素敵な仕上がりです。今でも充分聴けるアルバムだと思います。私はもう手放したくありません。

確かGroove誌でMUROがお気に入りとしてレコードを手にしていたのを見て機会があれば聴いてみたいなと思っていたのですが、CD化されていたとは知りませんでした。

聴いてびっくりこれがほんとうに素晴らしく日本臭のようなものは皆無。ディスコ色が強いのはシングルの1くらいで全体としてフィリーソウルの隠れ名盤を聴いているようでした。雰囲気として近いのは洋アーチストだとスリー・ディグリーズでしょうか。
　
テンポのある曲よりもとにかく3,8,9のスローや4,7といったミディアム系が絶品で、フォートップスの4やトム・ジョーンズの6といったカバーも英語発音の違和感もなくマッチしています。

盤に文句はありませんが、あえて注文をつけるなら31分という収録時間の短さ。02年のVIVID盤に続いて2回目のCD化なのにボートラが一曲もないのは少々不親切かなという気もします。シングルのみで未CD化の英語詩楽曲を数曲収録してもらえたら完璧だったのですが。
