5.0 out of 5 stars モノラル録音にこだわったクラブ系, 2006/10/18
機械に疎いのですが、左右のスピーカーから同じ音が流れるのがモノラル録音ということらしい。
モノラル録音といえば６０〜７０年代ロックなどをイメージするかもしれないけれど、
このオムニバスはクラブ系。

アコースティックなロックかフォーク、ボサノバ、ソウル、しっとりとストリングスのきいたロボ声曲など、
バラエティに富む格好良い曲の数々。

ソウル、ロック、ブルーズに、トミー・ゲレロやレイハラカミなどが好きなボクにはビビっと来ました。

オムニバスだけれど、全体的にはハウスや音響系のような静かでクールな統一感があり、素晴らしいです。

いい音楽はモノラルだろうがサラウンドだろうがいい、ということを証明した名盤です。
ある意味与えられ過ぎの子供向けの音楽が氾濫する今、「想像力を使って大人になろう！（安田寿之氏談）」とのこと。素晴らしいコンセプトです。
