アップテンポな曲ジャンル分けすると、R&Bからレゲェ
をカヴァーするような位置に陣取っている感じだった。
ややレゲエ色が強いでしょうか? Final GoodbyeやA Gi
rl Like Meなんかは、やや中世的な白人音楽のような
サウンドを使っているので、歌いこなすジャンルの広
さは一定以上あり、実力の程を推察できる。

　いろんなアーティストとコラボしているし、相手さ
んも合わせやすい懐の広さもあるのでしょうね。

　カラっとした声には物凄い魅力が秘められいて、コ
ーラス部などで、一層そのことを感じます。

　Unfaithfulは映画か何かのサントラなのかな?ドラ
マティックな曲です。ピアノとストリングスを中心
に編曲が施されており、リアーナの美声を引き立て
ています。コーラス部も文句無く、叙情的な曲に仕
上がっていますね。

1stアルバムを聴いた時は小生意気で可愛いらしいヤンチャな女の子って感じでしたけど、2ndを聴いてみると「アレ?これリアーナ?」って思いましたね(^^)
2ndを聴いてからは1stの時の雰囲気がキレイに無くなってホントのリアーナを知れた感じがしました。
リアーナはこの2ndで『ホントの自分を知って欲しい』とゆうことが強く伝わってきますね↑↑
1stシングルのS.O.S.はPOPなサウンドの中にR&Bの(レゲエの要素もあるらしいです(^^;))要素をいれて聴いていて気持ちいいナンバーですね(^曲^)
2ndシングルのUnfaithfulはNe-Yoがてがけた曲で何かNe-Yoらしい曲だと思います↑↑このPVを観るとこれまでと違うリアーナがあって良いです☆
3rdシングルのWe Rideは哀愁ただよう気持ちいいストレートなR&Bですね(^o^)多分リアーナの曲の中でただ一つのホントのR&Bって感じですね↑↑
この曲をシングルカットしたのは成功ですね(^u^)リアーナのこれまでシングルカットしてきた曲しか知らない人は「リアーナってこんなR&B歌うんだ」って思う人がいるでしょうから新しいリアーナを知れて良いと思います↑↑PVも今までで一番R&BらしいPVですね(^o^)

でションポをfeatしたBreak It Offはもう最高ですね↑↑この曲は4thシングルにして欲しいですね↑↑こんなダンスホール最高☆☆

それから他の曲はしっとりしたバラードがほとんどですね↑↑アルバム名になっているガール・ライク・ミーはバラードなんですけど、聴き方を変えたらカリビアンなR&Bって感じで聴けますね↑↑
で後は2〜3曲がレゲエでちょうどバランスがとれたアルバムですね☆☆

買って損はないですね↑↑ちょっとおとなしすぎますが、ちょうど良い感じですね(^曲^)
