輸入版では本来のアルバム発売と同時に出たDVD付き特別盤に字幕を加えたもの。
なので英語が達者な方はまったく必要ございません。
DVDの内容はスタジオライブにPV、メンバーたちのアルバムについての解説など興味深い内容だが
既に通常盤のアルバムを持っている方が再び3000円も払う価値があるかどうかはかなり微妙。
翻訳が通常盤の発売までに間に合わなかったという事情はいたしかたないのかもしれないが、
正直この時期に出す意図がイマイチわからない。せめてボートラや追加映像など
付属をもう少しつけるなどは出来なかったのだろうか？
メイデンというバンドの「デカさ」から早々出来ることではないのだろうが
こんな売り方じゃ姑息とかセコいとか言われてもレコード会社は言い訳できないと思う。

一聴してわかりやすい曲がないので、何回も聴き込むのが嫌な人はたぶん無理。
でも、IRON MAIDENを愛する人は当然そうするに違いないのでたぶん問題なし。
おまけのDVDは、うちのPS2でも見られました。アルバムのメーキング映像と、
7曲目と1曲目のビデオと、あとフォトギャラリーです。
メーキングは字幕がないので英語ヒアリングがダメな自分のような人は楽しくないです。
国内盤だと、字幕付いてるのでしょうか？べつにいいですけど。

　もはや初期の疾走感や明快な盛り上がりは前作よりも薄れ、
重厚なアンサンブルで少し複雑な曲を構成しています。
ギターソロも曲の一部としてすんなり流れていくように聞こえます。
　音がかなり詰め込まれているため初めの印象は地味でしたが、
2度3度と聴くうちに練られた楽曲に引き込まれていきました。
楽曲も単調なようでシリアスなドラマ性があり素晴らしいです。
個人的にはメイデンが守りに入っていなくて良かった！
