オーソドックスなデザインのダイバーズウォッチが少なくなってしまいました。
そんな中で、この価格設定でクォーツ、パーペチュアルカレンダーと機能的にも充実、しかも２００Ｍ防水ですから“ナンチャッテダイバーズウォッチ”ではありません。
逆輸入でしか手に入りにくくなったオートマティック（自動巻き）よりも小ぶり（ボーイズサイズ）で、ダイビングユースだけでなく、日常使用にも無理なく使えます。年差２０秒という精度にも惹かれます。自動巻きは精度の面では劣りますから･･･。
しばらく前までは文字盤がオレンジのタイプとネイビーのタイプがありましたが、残念ながら現在ではこのブラックタイプのみとなってしまいました。ＳＥＩＫＯさんにはぜひ復活をお願いしたいところです。
この時計の前に値段的には３倍ほどの外国製２００Ｍクォーツダイバーを永年使用してきましたが、ベルトの作り、ベセルの動きなど、こちらの方が作りが丁寧な気がします。
お勧めします！

既に購入して5年。他にR社の超高級ダイバーズも持っているが、屋外での実戦はこの時計の独壇場だ。故障は皆無。精度もカタログスペック以上。その上、パーぺチュアルカレンダーを搭載しているのでリューズ操作の必要がほとんど無く、８年間に一度！の電池交換を除けば実質メンテナンスフリーと言える。インデックスも読み取りやすくルミレックスの輝度も非常に高いので。気密性と視認性が命のダイバーズとしてはほぼ完璧と言っていいのでは？
現在のトレンドから見るとやや小ぶりなサイズも、逆にトレンドに左右されないプロの道具としての主張をしているようにも見える。
と良い事尽くめだが、唯一の不満は３連のように見えて実は一体成型という少々安っぽいブレスレット。機能的なウレタンバンドへの交換（１０００円〜２０００円）を強くお勧めする。フィット感が増し圧倒的に軽くなる上、デザイン的にもグッと締まった面構えになる。どうしても普段使う時に気になるのならメタルブレスに戻せば良い。交換は簡単だ。
価格も非常に手ごろで、セイコーの良心の詰まった製品だと思う。
