ヒットシングル「気分上々↑↑」のディスコチューン、「ツヨクツヨク」では初のロックチューンに挑戦、ジャズの名曲グレン・ミラーの「In The Mood」を大胆にサンプリングした「いつまでも響くこのmelody」、「マジカルスピーカー」のサマー・サルサや「楽園」のレゲエなど前作「mihimalife」以上に"HIP POP"を推し進めた作品に仕上がりました。またFMラジオの公録ライブで披露し話題となったhiroko選曲による初のカバー曲「部屋とYシャツと私」を収録(ピアノには大江千里が参加)。さらに「Over Drive~feat.SHOGO(175R)~」には、二人と交友のある175RのSHOGOがフィーチャリングボーカルとしてゲスト参加しており、ミヒマルGT初のコラボレーションとしても話題になること必至です!! よりステップ・アップした『mihimaru GT』の世界をぜひご堪能ください!!

2003年1月。ボーカリストを目指すhirokoと、BoAなどに楽曲提供していたmiyakeが出会い結成。
POPSもHip-Hopも区別なく『普通に』聞いてきた自分達が、心から楽しめる音楽の確立を目標に活動開始。
渋谷ROCK WESTを中心にストリート、クラブ等でライブを続けながら、6月にはアナログ盤をインディーズで リリ-ス。同年7月、そのアナログ盤が偶然TVドラマのスタッフの耳に止まりメジャーデビューを果たす。
HIP!POP!をキーワードに、イノベーティヴなPOPSを目指すピースフルなユニット。
