初回のライブDVDは必見です。landmarkの間奏「アア・・」で生まれたての赤ちゃんが、産声をあげているような
そんな感覚におちいり、鳥肌がとまりませんでした。
nameは今のところ、何度も聴くと飽きてしまいそうです。
詞の「名前を呼んで」に共感はできるのですが、なにか違うような気がしています…。いつもの小林武史さんでなくヒトトさんが作詞されているのが残念です。
カップリングのsomethingはカバーですが、lily chou-chouの「グライド」のような、全英詩の歌い方もとてもうまいなぁと思わせられました。

　この夏最大のマイブームが「to U」でした。百回くらい聴いたんじゃないかと思います。彼女の声、相当快感です。裏声の気持ち良さ、裏声ではない時の高音の気持ち良さその両方が素晴らしい。くわえて小林武史サウンドというのはやはり「歌」というものを中心に供えて構成されているんでしょうね、その巧さが妙にSalyuさんの歌に説得力を持たせているような気がしてなりません。
　また、一青窈さんの今回の歌詞は非常に難解ですがその難解さがある瞬間ポッと意味が解ったりする事がありますがまたワンランクその歌が好きになる瞬間でもあるのではないかと思います。

歌はもちろんうまいです。そしてあの唯一無二の声、すばらしいの一言です。 それにあのルックス、きれいとか美しいという系統ではありませんがかわいらしいです。歌唱力がある日本の歌手はルックスが・・・という人が多いのですが to Uから彼女を知った人はぜひファーストアルバムのlandmarkも聞いてほしいです。
