　第１２話にてとまりが言った、
「はずむの子供に、はずむの孫に自慢してやるんだ。
　お前の親は、お前のばあちゃんは、あたしのために世界で一番すごいことしたんだ」
この台詞がものすごく深い。
　初見ではストーリーを追うのに精一杯で気付きませんでしたが、
２度目、３度目で味が出てくる台詞です。

　第２話にて、とまりの妄想に出てくるはずむが
「私、男の人のことを好きになっちゃった」
なんて言い出したように、男性が認識できないやす菜と違って、
とまりは常に心の奥底で、はずむが遅かれ早かれ男性に恋をして、
自分からは離れてしまうのではないかという恐れを抱えながら、
それでもはずむを愛しているのです。
　上記の台詞には、その想いが凝縮されています。

　そう考えると、明日太へのツッコミが人一倍キツイのも納得できますし、
　学校ではずむに好意を持つ男子が見られないのも（第７話のナンパ男は除く）、
はずむを男に取られないよう、とまりが執拗にガードしているのではないかと解釈できます。
　この巻を見ると、当然ながら次は１３巻を見たくなるのが人情ですが、
　もう１度１巻から見直してみると、新たな発見ができるかもしれません。

TV放映最終話収録の第6巻。DVD版は真の結末が描かれる(?)第13話収録の第7巻が発売されるのでご注意を。今回、はずむ、やす菜、とまりの三角関係にも一応の決着がつく訳ですが、とまりファンにはどう受け止められるのしょうか…でも、仮にはずむがどちらも選べない…とか、このままみんな仲良く行こう!みたいな結末だったなら自分はこの作品に好感が持てなかったと思います。はずむが女の子である限り12話のはずむの選択は当然の事なのかも知れません。この選択を受けて、3人はどう成長していくのでしょうか?最後のはずむの「あのね…」という言葉の先が気になりますネ。
