こういう器具はあまり使った事が無いので、比較対象もほとんど無いですが…。
グリップ部分の親指側（写真で言うと向かって右側）に滑り止めの溝が付いているのですが、この部分はプラスチックむき出しです。
また加工も角ばった感じでして、負荷を弱く設定しているうちはともかく、最強の負荷ともなると手の平がこすれてとても痛いです。
使い終わった後に手の平を見てみたら、クッキリとすべり止めと同じ形に跡が付いてました（笑）
プラスチックとは言え表面加工はそれほどツルツルしたものでもないですし、正直この溝は不要なんじゃないかなぁと思ったりしました。
慣れて来れば問題無いのかもしれませんが、これにより星を一つ減らしてます。

ですが、目玉の負荷調節機能はなかなかの優れモノ。
最弱〜最強の幅は結構あるので、気分によって変えてもいいかも。
弱めの負荷でテレビでも見ながら高回数やってもいいし、高めの負荷で低回数もいいでしょう。
また、徐々に負荷を弱めていってオールアウトさせるというのも手なのかもしれません。
もしくは弱い負荷で指を個別に鍛えたりと、負荷調節機能は色々と使い方がありそうです。
（※でもこれを書いている人は筋トレ理論にあまり詳しくないので鵜呑みにはしないで下さい）
写真の左側にある赤いネジをくるくる回して調節する無段階式なので、人によってはカチカチと段階的に変化させられる方が良いという事はあるかもしれないですね。
個人的にはなかなか良い買い物だったかなぁと思います。

最弱の強度で１０キロ前後。
最強の強度で４５キロ前後。

主観的にはこんな感じです。
デラックスは３段階ではなく好きなように細かく調節できるので、自分に適した強度に設定できるのが魅力だと思います。

追記として親指を鍛えるのにかなり使えます。
ピンチ力（つまむ力）の強化に最適かもしれません。ピンチ用の高価な器具を買うより、これのほうがダンゼンお得だと思います。

グリップの強度を自由に調整できる事が最大の魅力。
二つ購入し、右と左で強度を微妙に変えて同時に鍛える等できる。
その日の体調による調節等かなり実用的。
自分が求めている負荷が得られる。
強度も最強レベルは一般人には使わない程度でちょうど良い。
おすすめです。
