A Kid's Review
１話と２話が収録されたこのＤＶＤ第１巻は「買い」ですし「★５つ」でしょう。
絵作り、物語、演出、すべてが圧倒的で見ていてわくわくします。

１話と２話の脚本家が降板し、
監督が主導権を握った３話以降は雪崩のように全てが崩壊していきますが
（１話２話とのギャップが、ヒステリックなレビューとして噴出していますね）

繰り返しますがこのＤＶＤ第１巻は「買い」ですし「★５つ」。
どうしてこのままつづけてもらえなかったのか。極めて残念です。

１話のBパート、「マルチアーノ１２姉妹」のパラシュート降下が超格好いいです。
応戦するアンジェリカや警備をものともしないその強さも圧巻。
お前ら人間かよ！と思ったらサイボーグ(ロボット？)でした。
そんなサイボーグな彼女らを、さらに圧倒するは我らが大塚明夫。もとい、「ミスター」です。
彼の登場シーンが超熱い。格好いい。
大胆な、作戦ともいえない作戦で１２姉妹を一掃します。

ああ、格好良かった。Aパートはつまらなかった。
そして２話もそんなに面白くなかった。
現在放送話数が１１話なのですが、これまでで「これはよい！」と思うシーンは１１話各所と、上記の１話のBパートだけ。
やろうと思えば０．５クールでもいけんじゃね？というのは言いすぎですが、正直中身が薄いですね。

私的な結論を言うと非常にキャラが惜しいアニメ。
１つのストーリにこだわる必要はなかったんじゃないかな。
１〜６話くらい、つまり半分はブルースの遺産の話は出さなくてもよかったんじゃないか、と。
それまで１話完結にしながらキャラ同士の関係を描いたりしてくれれば面白い作品になったと思います。
ていうかスワンプかわいそうすぎますよ。公式ページにも、OPにも登場しないもん。
あんなにステキな髪型なのに。

最後に１つ。
４月かわいいよ４月。

この作品を作っているユーフォーテーブルという会社は、ゲームや漫画をアニメ化し、そのクオリティにおいて一定の評価を受けてきた会社です。
そして今回、同社が念願だったオリジナル作品ということで、見る方も期待していたのですが、正直肩透かしを喰らった気持ちがしています。
大人が楽しめる映画的な作品を目指していたらしいのですが、出来たものは、出来の悪いB級映画そのものです。
随所に、どこかの映画で見たようなシーンが出てきますが、上っ面をなぞっただけで、深みや意味が凝縮されていません。
シナリオもご都合主義なだけでなく、各所の詰めが甘いので安物のドラマそのものです。ドタバタアクションが好きな方なら楽しめるかもしれませんが。
主人公たちが乗るコヨーテ号はじめ、各種メカも中途半端なCGで格好悪いです。動きもぎこちなく、今の技術だとは信じられないほどです。
安くアニメを作るためにCGを使ってるのではないかと感じるほどです。
第1話は絵のクオリティも高く、いい雰囲気を醸し出していて評価が高いので見てみてもいいかもしれませんが、今後は覚悟しておいて頂きたいです。
製作会社にも作品にも期待していただけに、かなり辛口のコメントになってしまいました。
ですが、この作品を作るために今までの仕事をしてきたというなら、この出来は残念で仕方がありません。
