PINKがすごくかっこいい音楽をやってた、バンドってことは
他の方が書いてくれてますので（笑）ただ、若い頃から色んなバンドを生で見てきましたが
すごいなぁ（バンドも、お客も）、って思ったのは、後にも先にもPINKのみでした。
上の方も書かれてますが、「Traveller」や「Keep Your View」がないのは、残念ではあるけど
「CHRISTMAS ILLUSION」や「DANCE AWAY」が入ってるのもいい感じです。
どうせなら、初期の頃の作品を、レコード会社の垣根を超えたベストを。。でしたが。それは無理なようです・・
全部持ってる人には、不用だし、私の主観では、１２年前に出た、FINAL MIXの方がBESTっぽいです。
やっぱ、エンちゃんの声は、何年経って聞いてもせつなく、ステキです。

80年代中期、天才集団と騒がれたバンドがありました。
それがこのPINKです。
腕達者なメンバーによる完璧な演奏から生まれるファンクなリズムに、
ノビがあり艶のあるボーカルが絡まり、唯一無二の音楽世界を構築していました。
解散後も各メンバーは、ソロ活動やプロデュース業などで、日本の音楽シーンを支えています。
ところが、残念なことに現在どのＣＤも廃盤で、入手できるのはこのベスト盤だけです。
まだPINKを聴いたことがない人にはぜひともお薦めしますし、
PINKというバンド名を聴いて懐かしく思う人にもお薦めです。
デジタル・リマスターにより音もクリアーで広がりのあるものになっています。
ベスト盤ながら、"Traveller"や"Keep Your View"などのシングル曲が入っていないのは
少しだけ残念なのですが（そのため星を一つだけ減らしました）、
それは今後の再発に期待しましょう。

福岡ユタカ率いるPINKのベスト盤。めずらしく今までリミックスもの以外できちんとしたベストがリリースされておらず、このＣＤが始めての正式なベスト盤になる（とはいっても、とうの昔にバンドは解散しているのだが）。選曲はシングルを中心に（とはいっても、中途半端）アルバムの中から代表曲を収録しているが、どちらかというと勢いのあるビートぶんぶんの曲が中心で、美しいバラード系やディープな曲が皆無なのでこの一枚でPINKの音楽性を計り知るのはちと難しいかも。吉田美奈子などとの交流から生まれた深みのあるナンバーは必聴。それにしても「keep your view」や「SHADOW PARADISE」が収録されていないというのは納得いかないな~。選曲は正直、良くないと思います。
