とにかく日本に来て欲しい。それだけです。
しかし、それだけではレビューになりません。ご案内させていただきます。

ベースメントジャックスの凄みはその作曲能力にある、と私は考えております。編集能力や、時代読みに長けたトラックメイカーは非常に多い。しかし、彼らがバンド形態を試用したり、ちょっとしたポップソングを手がけると往々にしてほぼ100%、がっかりさせてくれます。それはなぜか。作曲能力は、編集や実演とはまた別次元にあるからです。時代の雰囲気を反映したゴキゲンな曲をマッシュアップする能力だけでは、人類の歴史と共に歩み、高度に体系化された音楽理論の退屈を更新しうる、強度のある旋律や和声は作れないのです。

ベースメントジャックスは、強度のある旋律と、和声と、律動を、確かに"創造"します。
つまり彼らは、間違いなく、音楽家なのです。

えー以上、全くの主観による熱烈な推薦文でございました（笑）

まさかここまでとは！
底知れない才能と実験が実を結んだ傑作です。
ハウスをベースに様々なジャンルの要素が完全にボーダーレスに融合した
究極のダンスミュージック。

来日がホント楽しみです！

上手だな、音楽を手玉に取るというか、自らの才能で音を弄くりまわすだけで良質の音楽を作るというのは、悔しいくらい羨ましい。

ただ才能ばかりがとげとげしくて、聴くものの心に響かない。
自分は何が好きで、どんな音でリスナーに訴えたいのか、といった点は何も伝わらない。
虚無のポップミュージックといえば、賞賛しすぎだ。

おそらく発展途上なだけだろう。
