待ちに待った 3年 2ヶ月ぶりのマキシ・シングルは、期待を大きく上回る♪大人のバラード!←アレンジだけで 8ヶ月を要したそうです。 長きに渡る闘病生活も《災い転じて福来たる》ように幅広い世代に是非とも聴いて欲しいと感じています。 同時収録の♪最後の愛 は BMG時代のラスト・シングルのセルフ・カバーも、こちらの方はリアレンジされたイメージが少々外れたかな?

３年２ヶ月ぶりに発売された秀樹の新曲。アンドレギャニオンのピアノの名曲に、大きな優しい愛の詩を載せた秀樹の珠玉のバラード。♪ま〜る〜で〜、のところがもう、いかにも秀樹って歌い方で、胸にぎゅ―っときます。秀樹はこの曲を、西城秀樹の曲としてじゃなく、思いを乗せて届けるので、もし聴いて良かったら他の方にまた届けてください、と話していました。心に染みる、素敵な曲です。
