待ちに待った国内盤のリリースだ。『ONCE』アルバムを聴き、『Wish I had an Angel』のPVを観て以来、彼らのパフォーマンスを是非生で観てみたいと思っていたものの、来日公演は観る事が出来ず悔しい思いをしていたが、とうとう念願かなったといところである。コレクター物でも観ることは可能ではあったが、オフィシャルでリリースされるとのNWESがアナウンスされ国内リリースを信じ続けた甲斐あり、素晴らしい内容だ。とにかくTARJAの圧倒的な歌唱力には度肝を抜かれる。勿論、TARJA以外の４人も（存在感抜群なMARCO、バンドの中心人物TUOMAS、ワイルドなドラミングがどこと無くEric SingerなJUKKA、『Overhill the Hills and Far Away』での踏ん張りが頼もしいEmppu）フロイドの名曲『HIGH HOPE』を演るといった懐の深さを見せるあたりが素晴らしい。
この作品が認知され、ここ日本での過小評価が改善されれば良いのだが、すでにTARJAはこのバンドには籍を置いておらず、NIGHTWISHとしての、この素晴らしい歌唱は、もう日本では聴けないといった現実が悲しい。

何というスケールの大きなライヴでしょう。来日公演でも、その堂々たるパフォーマンス
で観客を魅了していましたが、流石に本場のアリーナクラスの会場でのライヴは全てに
おいて迫力が違います。地元ということもあってか、一層熱のこもった凄まじい演奏に、
ライティング、パイロ、映像などなどの仕掛けを効果的に絡めて、最後まで目を離す
暇を与えない密度の濃さです。会場を埋め尽くしたお客さんの反応も素晴らしい！
でも、これで最後。ターヤがこのバンドで歌うことは、この時で最後。そう思うと堪らない
です。
一つの時代の終わり・・・何てタイトル付けるんだよう。

もの凄いライブでした。シングル「Nemo」「Wish I Had An Angel」、スピーディーな「Dark Chest Of Wonders」「Planet Hell」などが良かったのはもちろんですが圧巻だったのは映像を駆使した「The Siren」「Ghost Lve Score」、ネイティブアメリカンを唄った「Stone People〜Creek Mary's Blood」の3曲です。この3曲はホント素晴らしいの一言です。こういう音楽を本当に綺麗な音楽というんだなぁと思いました。Tarjaは昔から素晴らしいシンガーですがそれでも試行錯誤を続けてきて、このライブを見てもわかるようにようやく完成された唄い方になったと思います。それだけに「後1,2枚かなぁ」とは思っていましたが、まさかこれで聴けなくなってしまうと思うと残念です。とにかくこのDVDは素晴らしいパフォーマンスが収録されているので皆さん観て下さい。そして友達に勧めてあげてください。
