中島敦好きの方も、あるいは三木さん・小西さんファンの方も、双方楽しめる作品だと思います。
特に、小西さん演じる李徴の自嘲的な、そして何とも物悲しい風情は、本当に素晴らしく、山月記を愛する私の胸を打つものでした。オススメです☆

学生時代の教科書で読んだ山月記。
プロ声優が演じるということで期待して買ったが、いまひとつ、李徴担当の小西氏の演技が作品に合っていない。
虎になった李徴の苦悩とエゴを演じきれていない印象を受けた。

小西氏の声質はどちらかといえば軽く爽やかなタッチの調子が魅力だと思うのだが、苦悩し煩悶する役はちょっと合わない。最初から最後までミスマッチで、耳障りな感じがどうしても残ってしまった。
個人的に小西氏はとても好きな声優のひとりなのだが、役と合わないとこうも不快さが残るのかと、無念さでいっぱいである。

が、もうひとりの声優・三木氏の語りは文句なしだった。

個人的には、小西氏と三木氏のキャストは反転していたほうが作品のテイストにベストマッチしていたかもしれない。
というか、喉をかきむしるような苦悩に悩んだ挙げ句、虎にまでなってしまった・・・なんていう李徴のような役こそ、三木氏の得意とする役どころだと思うのだが。

原作が名作中の名作だけに、惜しいキャスティングだった。

中島敦のいわずとしれた名作のCD化
原作の硬質な漢文体が嫌な人に気軽に入ってもらい、好きになって貰うっていうのは原作ファンとしては嬉しい
声優も良い
作品の世界観も崩れていないと思う
最後の1トラック迄は……
ラストのラスト、あの高潔な世界観が一気に崩壊する
解釈という名の暴力を知りたい人は、聞いてみる価値ありです
