5.0 out of 5 stars 聴いていて気持ちの良いバンド、【ME FIRST AND THE GIMME GIMMES】, 2007/5/11
人気のポップソングを自分たちでカバーしようと、
アメリカの音楽レーベル【FAT WRECK CHORDS】の人気バンド【NOFX】のファット・マイクが結成したバンドが【ME FIRST AND THE GIMME GIMMES】。
ちなみにME FIRST AND THE GIMME GIMMESは、FAT WRECK CHORDS所属の各バンドから選抜されたメンバーで構成されています。

彼らが奏でる、「パンクっぽく」「メロコアっぽく」のメロディーは、聴いていて本当に気持ちがいいものです。
もちろん今回の作品だって例外ではありません。
初めての人でも気持ちよく聴くことの出来る包容力とでも言うのでしょうか、とにかくこのバンドのメロディーにはそういうものがあります。
聴いた事がないという人は、お試しという程度でもぜひ一度聴いてみてはいかがでしょうか。

なお個人的なお勧めは、

3曲目【Desperado】（ノリが好き♪）4曲目【On the Road Again】（とにかく格好いい！！）6曲目【Jolene】（大好き☆）

です。
しかし、捨て曲はまったくのゼロです。全曲が最高の仕上がり状態です！！

待ちに待ったNew Albam やっぱいりいいは〜。待ったかいがありました！もはや説明不要のスパイクの歌声、いまやギミーズ＝スパイクだしょ！初めて聞く人にも聞きやすくこれを聞かずにＦＡＴは語れんでしょ！！！今すぐ買うべし！！(>_<)/

このアルバムか「Blow in the wind」が聴きやすくて好きです。

毎回、彼等のカバーセンスには度肝を抜かれますが

今回の「Desperado」は特に圧巻で

格の違いを見せつけられました。

お気楽さ満点の中に見え隠れする

楽曲センス

素晴らしいの一言につきます。
