Best of Bestというタイトルのとおり、本当に最高です。とっても、とっても、優雅な気分にひたれます。以前のアルバムとの曲の重複はありますが、曲の順番などは勿論、違うわけだし、これはこれという感じです。心からのお勧めのアルバムです。仕事休みにちょっと、また、曲を聞きながらでも仕事がかえってはかどるかも知れません。
優雅な、そして心を癒してくれる、そんな曲ばかりです。

西村由紀江の２０周年ベストアルバム。
曲の素晴らしさは、改めて説明する必要もありません。
聴く人を魅了する不思議な旋律。素晴らしい表現力。
昔の楽曲も全然古さを感じさせず、また新しい感覚で楽しめるからすごい。
ベストアルバムで過去の曲と最近の曲を改めて聴きこみ、西村由紀江の世界の移り変わりを感じるのも非常に楽しいです。


このベストに難ありと感じた点は、選曲に他なりません。
明らかに選曲が偏っています。
ひとつのアルバムから何曲も収録していて、いろいろな年代からまんべんなくということがなされていません。
また、「扉をあけよう」「明日のために」「しあわせのかたち」と、アルバムタイトル曲ばかり集めています。
何よりも２００２年発売のベストアルバム『しあわせまでもう少し』収録の曲と、８曲もかぶってしまっています。

２７作ものアルバムを出してきているのですから、ぜひともベストに収録したい名曲は豊富にあるはずです。
アルバムタイトル曲ではなくアルバム収録の人気曲、西村さんご本人が強い思い入れがある曲など、もう少し考えられたはず。
過去のベストアルバムと同じようなものを作っても、あんまり意味がないと思うのですが…。

『しあわせまでもう少し』を聴きこんだ方には、目新しさに欠けるはず。物足りない。
楽曲が素晴らしいだけに、悔しいです。

西村由紀江さんのファンになってだいぶ経ちました。
毎回CDは買っていますし、何度かコンサートも行ったのですが、
今回付いているのDVDの中には、自然の中でピアノを弾いている
由紀江さんがいました。
この様な映像を見る事が出来て、本当に感動でした！！！
本当はテレビの映像ではなく、実際にその場所で聞きたいのですが・・・　それは無理ですよね(悲・笑！？)
それにしても、本当に素晴らしかったぁ〜
