　子供の頃から北斗の拳が好きで大人になった今でも漫画本を持っています。
自分はサウザーとの戦いを描いたストーリーが1番好きだったこともあって、今作品の
物語のベースがサウザー編である事を知ったときには感激しました。

DVDも予約して購入し、期待に胸踊らせてさっそく作品の方を観たんですが、
残念ながらこれは自分にとっては満足のいくものではなかったですね。

ラオウにスポットを当てているためにそちらに時間をとられて、肝心のストーリーが
早回しで伝えられてる印象を受けました。
このストーリーの主役はやはりケンシロウとサウザーである訳だから、
そこを踏まえてラオウの存在を描いてほしかったですね。

評価できるところといえば絵のレベルでしょうか。
前作品の3部作からなる新・北斗の拳と同様に原作のイメージを崩さず描いていると思います。
原作の方の絵が凄すぎるので比較は出来ませんが、それでもかっこよく仕上っているので
これで内容も完璧だったらと思うと・・・う〜ん惜しいなぁといった感じです。

初めに言っておきます。昔のTV版に思い入れが有る人は見ないほうがいいです。違和感有り過ぎの声優陣(特にラオウ役の宇梶剛士)、不要な新キャラ、演出&物語をハショり過ぎ等々…良かった所は絵が綺麗なのと、戦闘シーンがわりと迫力が有る位。ユリア伝は見ないな…。

シバとシュウの強さをもっと描いて欲しかったです。
柴崎コウの役はいらなかったと思う。シュラとは思えなかった。
声優では、ラオウの声優が下手でした。
タイトルからだと勘違いしますがＤＶＤを見た限り、ラオウが主役ではなく、ケンシロウが主役です。ラオウの謎がストーリーに入っているともっと面白かったと思う。
原作だとサウザーが憎たらしいほど強かったけど、そんな感じはしませんでした。

映画化されると絵の手抜きとか良くありますが、この作品は手抜きはあまりなく、漫画のケンシロウ・ラオウ・トキが描けてました。
テレビ版とかを観るよりは、この作品を観た方が良いと思った。
