ｓｎｏｗ ｄｒｏｐは、ｈｙｄｅの歌声を限界まで使ったかのような壮大で、暖かみのある曲です。フランダースの犬と関係した誕生秘話は、有名になりました。
しかし、カップリングの方は、打って変わって無機質でお経のような意表を突かれる曲となっています。グレゴリア聖歌みたいでした。歌詞の方は、全て英語で、そこにはｈｙｄｅの銀河（太陽）にまで広がる訴えが綴られている、と僕は解釈しました。歌詞もメロディーも深く味わってほしいです。

これからの季節にぴったりの曲。
フランダースの犬をイメージして作られたというのはあまりに有名な話。
何回も聴かないと良さが分からないと思うので何回も聞き込んで欲しい。
Winter fallと組み合わせて聴くと冬の雰囲気にぴったり。
