様々な環境に合わせて簡単に高画質なDVDダビングを実現するソフト。単純なダビングなら、「CloneDVD」ボタンから「次へ」「次へ」と進むだけ。「DVDタイトル」機能を使えば、自分だけのオリジナル編集も可能。片面2層DVD(DVD±R DL)の書き込みにも対応し、2層のDVDに画質を落とさずダビングできる。トランスコーディングにより、高速・高画質のDVDダビングを実現する。「チャプターカット」機能の搭載により、指定したタイトルから任意のチャプター(指定チャプターでない)だけを記録することができる。元の画質を落とさずにバックアップしたい場合にも、チャプターで区切って2枚のDVDに分けることができるので安心。また、ユーザーで自由に出力サイズを選択できる「カスタムサイズトランスコード機能」、トランスコード中の画質の確認もできる「リアルタイムプレビュー機能」、HDD上のDVDデータを手軽にメディアに書き込むことができる「既存データの書き込み」機能も装備。(旧「CloneDVD2」を持っているユーザーは、アップデータの適用により本製品と同等の機能を利用できるため、新規でご購入する必要はなし。)

「CloneDVD2」は、ウィザード形式で、初心者に優しく扱いやすく、また、トランスコード技術を使用し、高画質、高速で片面一層DVDメディアへのダビングを行うことができるソフトウェアです。ダビングの際は、チャプターカット機能やカスタムサイズトランスコード機能を使うことにより、ユーザーオリジナルの編集を行い、お好みの画質でお楽しみいただけます。また、片面二層DVDメディアにも対応したことにより、画質を落とすことなくDVDダビングを行うことも可能になりました。
