ニック・ドレイクにも通じる、というかひけを取らないバックの小楽団風の控えめなオーケストラ、（なんといってもキーボードはニッキー・

ホプキンズ！！）あきらかにクラシックを知り尽くしていると思われるバロック調の繊細なメロディー。ニック・ドレイクフォロワーは数多と思いますが、（ダンガン・ブラウンは決してフォロワーではありませんが）比較にならない程素晴らしい出来。友人、ゾンビーズのコリン・ブランストーンの名盤とされる「一年間」（こちらはもっとポップ）よりもさらに、さらに繊細さと洗練されたセンスのよさ！ニックと比べても又、違う個性を発揮。ニックが天才肌としたら、こちらは繊細な職人芸。本当に正真正!銘の名盤です。コリン・ブランストーンのポップさが余分だと思われる方は是非！！！！ボーナストラックも素晴らしい出来で、イギリスフォークが大好きな人はmust!!

６８年発表の１ｓｔ。イミディエイトの倒産に伴い、ごく少数のプレスしか出回らなかったと言う幻の作品だった。内容はソフトなサイケ・テイストのフォーク/ロック作。バロック音楽やジャズ的な要素を盛り込んだメロディアス作風であり、多くのフォーク系のアーティストとは一線を画した親しみやすい作品となっている。ドラムスとベースを省き、アコギを中心として、弦、木管、ハープ、チェンバロなどの古典楽器や女性コーラス隊を駆使したサウンドは元ジェネシスのアンソニー・フィリップ辺りにも通じるものがあると思う。
バックにはニッキー・ホプキンズらも参加。ボーナス曲の収録曲が違うものがいくつかあるので、購入の際はチェックをした方が良いかも。
