「国内編」に続きリリースされた「サイエンスジャーニー編」。
スタンスは前作同様、スカイフィッシュが「いる／いない」は置いておいて、
とりあえず自信満々に捕まえ方だけをレクチャーしてくれる、というものです。

今回も頓狂な名人達が多数登場します。
おとなしくて、気の優しそうなレポーターのお姉さんは
そんな彼等の妄言に対して疑問の表情を露にしつつも、
決して怒らずツッコまず、どうにか彼等の話を理解しようと
視聴者の分身となって、誠心誠意の努力を試みます。

ああ、なんてじれったいんだ。彼等の荒唐無稽な与太話なんて、
適当な正論で論破してやってくれ。しかし、あくまでお人好しの
女レポーターは、彼等の話を聞いても当惑の表情を浮かべるばかり。
それをこれ見よがしに見下ろす名人達の表情。なんなら少しキレている。
いや、お前等まだスカイフィッシュ捕まえてないだろ！

ムカつくんだけど面白い、「ムカ面白い」名人達の謎の自信。
その態度が、佇まいが、眼が、視聴者をワケのわからん世界へと
いざなってくれるのです。脱力とニヤニヤ笑いの金太郎飴。

作品の全般を通して大爆笑することはなかったが、
見ているときはクスッとし、見た後は思い出し笑いを
してしまう。そういう、日本の「わび」「さび」を
感じてしまった。

というか、この作品が巷で話題になるようでは
世も末である。

ある意味、テポドン以上の破壊力を秘めている作品だと思う。

本編から特典映像まで、充実した内容のＤＶＤだと思います。
全体を通しては、本当にドキュメンタリーっぽい仕上がりになっているんですけど、確信犯的な笑いをとろうとしている部分が所々に出てきていて、おもしろかったです。
スカイフィッシュの捕まえ方は、シュールなお笑い芸人のネタを見ている様な感じにさせられます。だから、ハマる人にはとことんハマるのではないでしょうか。
本当に斬新でした。斬新すぎます。
まだ買っていない人に色々と伝えたい事はあるのですが、ネタばれにもなってしまいかねないので、この程度にしておきます。

あと、スカイフィッシュハンターに取材をしている女性が微妙にかわいかったです。そういう意味でも、何度でも見てしまうＤＶＤなのではないでしょうか。
