   テニスの名門校・青春学園中等部に編入してきた天才テニス少年・越前リョーマ（本郷奏多）。そのクールな態度は実力とユニークな個性を併せ持つテニス部の面々の反感を買うが、圧倒的プレイで補欠レギュラー入りするが、その後手塚と対戦して負けてしまう。やがて青学は関東大会で宿敵・氷帝学園と対戦するが…！
   アニメ化もなされた大ヒットコミックを原作に、テニスを通して少年たちの成長を描く青春スポ根映画。テニス・シーンはデジタル・フロンティア社によるVFXで表現されているが、原作のテイストを実写に置き換えると『少林サッカー』のごとき荒唐無稽なおもしろさが醸し出されることがよくわかる。また試合そのものから、少年たちの熱血が気持ちよく伝わるのがいい。個人の闘いであるテニスが実はチーム・プレイであることも理解できる。ただし、そもそも原作からしてそうなのだが、主人公以外は誰も中学生に見えない！？　監督は『Jam Films S』で「すべり台」を担当したアベユーイチ。（増當竜也）

リョーマの可愛さが全くでてなくてちょっと・・・・・。ただの生意気なくそがきにしか見えなかった。後は内容的にはこんなもんかなと納得。ファンなら一度見て爆笑したらいいかと。

原作やアニメを知ってる方には、あまりお薦めできない。
理由は、内容を詰め込みすぎであること、
アニメの良さである脇役たちのキャラがたっていないことにある。
これはこれで楽しめるのだろうが、
やっぱりアニメには敵わない。

青学メンバーや跡部は合っている。しかしいくらなんでも氷帝の桧垣はいただけないような・・・。ただのおじさんにしか見えず。桧垣役よりもお父さん役がお似合いだと・・・。みなさんが書いている通り個性が少な過ぎ、だから配役のミスとそこに星三つ!!
