先月出たサントラ＆キャラソン集の後編のCDです。
サントラの曲は前回未収録の曲が多数入っていますが、
今回は割と静かな感じの曲がやや多めでしょうか。
アニメで流れた馴染みのあるクラシック調の音楽は
作品中のいろんな場面が自然と思い浮かんできて、
聞いてるうちに思わず顔が緩んでしまいます。
ホスト部の音楽は聴いてるだけで優雅な気分になってしまうのが
マジックだなぁと思います。

キャラソンの方はキャラの個性をよく捉えていて、
きちんと安心して聴ける出来になっていると思います。
鏡夜先輩の曲はしっとりと落ち着いたバラード曲、常陸院ブラザーズの曲は
彼らの耽美さも出しつつ、聴き易く甘い感じの仕上がりになっています。
そしてホスト部全員が参加する「また明日！」は、ホスト部のアニメに感じる
明るさ、優しさ、暖かさといった“らしさ”がたくさん詰まっていて、
アニメを思い出すと思わずジンと来てしまうようなフレーズがあったりと
ホスト部が好きな方なら誰にでもオススメできる一曲です。
サントラの方の優雅さがホスト部の表向きな雰囲気を捉えているとしたなら、
こちらはホスト部の本質の部分を捉えた曲だなぁと思います。

たとえアニメが終わってしまった時でも、
もしホスト部に戻ってきたくなった時にはこの一枚を聴きながら
ホスト部の世界に浸ってみてはいかがでしょうか。

難を言えば、やはり坂本真綾さんが歌っていないという点ですが、歌えないのはアーティストとして別の会社と契約なさってるからでしょうかね。
残念ながらハルヒの歌声は聴けませんが、ホスト部のみんなの歌声は素晴らしいです！
楽曲もさることながら、歌唱力もあり、安心して聴けます。

サントラも飽きる事なく、様々な曲調で最後まできっちり楽しめました！
十分オススメできる１枚です！！

≪前編≫では入っていなかった鏡夜、双子、そしてホスト部全員が歌うキャラソンが収録されています。そのキャラらしい歌ばかりで、私としては満足です。
また、サントラの方も、オーケストラをつかった豪華な曲から、ピアノソロの切ない曲まで収録されていて、とてもよかったと思います。
「ホスト部」ファンなら買って損はなし！
