おっさんと呼ばれる年齢になり、それでもHR/HMが自分は好きだ、好きなはずだ、という自らに言い聞かせるような思いで、私は今どきのHR/HMもちょこちょこチェックしてきましたが、「 ! 」という感覚を覚える作品に出会うことがどうも歳を追う毎に少なくなっていくようで、「自分ももう歳なのかな…ロックを消化できない年齢に至ったのかな…」という寂しさにも似た気持ちを最近持っていました。

でも歳の問題じゃなかったんですね！だって、Wig Wamのおっさん達はこんなにカッコよく素敵なロックを奏でているのですから。

HR/HMが輝いていたあの頃が「あーっ、それ！それある！」という気持ちで思い出されることから生じる「あるある笑い」だけでなく、楽曲、演奏自体の素晴らしさから生まれる笑みも加わり、このアルバムを初めて耳にした時の私の顔は満面の笑顔でした。

一歩間違えば、単にロックをバカにすることにもなりかねない彼らの懐古芸がここまでカッコいいのは（不思議なことに今となっては彼らの出で立ちまでカッコよく見えます）、彼ら自身が本気でHR/HMを愛しているからでしょうね。いやぁ、ホント、彼らの芸（楽曲、演奏）は全くおふざけに見えず、何から何まで素晴らしいんですよ。

嬉しいことに彼らの音楽を評価しているのは「あの時代」を生きた私たちおっさん世代だけではないということを知りました。やはり、良いものは良いんですね。In My Dreamsなんてたまりませんもの。

モダンものも良いけど、これも良い。

いや、私はこれ「が」良い。

ロックを忘れかけた方、ロックに飢えた方、「あの時」の熱い気持ちを再びお求めの方、いや、もう単純に自分はロックが好きだという老若男女の皆様方は、ぜひどうぞ！

はい、見た目、平均年齢は高そうです(^_^;)
実際、知る人ぞ知るパワー・メタルバンド、ARTCHのメンバーもおり、年齢は推して知るべし（笑）

デビュー・アルバム「６６７〜」をタイトルを替えて再発した実質のメジャー・デビュー作。

「俺たち、ロック大好きだぜ！」
てな声が今にも聞こえて来そうな楽曲目白押し。

聴いたことありそうな？節回しや、ド派手な衣装も確信犯的(^｡^)

耳馴染みの良いメロディの楽曲をベテランらしい安定した演奏で盛り上げる、確かな品質を備えたハード・ロックアルバムだ。

ノルウェーでは国民的人気というが、コレと次作「WIG　WAMANIA」を聴けばその事実も十分頷ける（＾＾

ジンギスカンをカヴァーしちゃってるのもステキすぎ(^｡^)

日本でもブレイクできる器は持ってると思うな。
