ひさしく廃盤で入手困難だったもの。もともと非売品の記念盤として贅沢に作られた音源らしく、ジョビン自身も最高傑作としてあげている。聴きなれた名曲がさらに洗練されたアレンジで、バンダ・ノーヴァのメンバーによって演奏される。その「余裕」と「コク」は絶品。

６０歳の誕生日を迎えたジョビンが、自分の希望どおりにスタッフも曲も選び、思うがままに作り上げた記念の２枚組アルバム。もともとは非売品で、彼の死後になって発売されたそうです。結局彼が選んだのは、８０年代から晩年にかけて共に過ごしたバンダ・ノヴァであり、妻や娘もヴォーカルで参加して、文字どおり寛いだファミリーアルバムとなっています。何の気負いもてらいもなく、過ぎ来し方を淡く思いつつ、微笑を浮かべるジョビンのあたたかな気配がありありと漂います。選曲もジョビン・ナンバーの集大成。（ただ、どうして「おいしい水」は漏れたのでしょう。ちょっと知りたい、かな。）ジョアン・ジルベルトが老いてなお音楽の求道者であり、聴くもののいずまいを正させるような張り詰めた何かを持っているとすれば、ジョビンの晩年の音楽はボサノヴァでありながらブラジルを遥かに超え、地球や人間への愛に満ち、すべてを穏やかに受け入れる、東洋的にいえば桃源郷の音楽とも言えそうです。難しいことはもういわないで、ただこの音楽に浸っていたい。柔らかな光がみえてきます。

２−３年前、さんざん探してAmazon.ukでやっと入手した後、廃盤でなかなかお目にかかれなかった名作が、何と日本版で発売されていたなんて！　また買ってしまいそう。ジョビンがお好きな方、これはぜひお勧めの逸品です。
ボサノヴァは、いつ誰が創ったのか克明にアナウンスされている（多少の脚色はあるとしても）という点で、ある意味稀有な現代音楽ジャンルです。初めそれは知的でお洒落な音楽実験であり、間もなくブラジルの濃厚な音楽的才気の一つの奔流として世界中を席巻してゆきました。ふだん耳にするジョビンの有名アルバムは、それらのリアルタイムな表現であり、その時々のジョビンや世界が持つ興奮と情熱をそこはかとなく伝えてくれます。
…やがてジョビンの音楽は、ボサノヴァでありながらボサノヴァを超え、ジョビンの胸に燃えていた（と想像される）ブラジル人（というよりカリオカ）の情念や、あるいはコスモポリタン的人間愛をたたえるようになっていきます。そのたどり着いた先が、この究極のアルバムです。ジョビン自選の各曲が、初出のアルバムに比較して、より暖かみのある寛いだ響きとなって、慈しむように流れてきます。ボサノヴァが同時代音楽を超え、より普遍的な境地に達したことを象徴するアルバムがこの「イネーヂト」だと思います。晩年を見送ったバンダ・ノーヴァと共に奏でる円熟のジョビンの音楽に、ゆったりと抱かれて、至福の彼岸へ…。

これまで何度聴いたかわからないほど聴き込んでるジョビンの名曲集ですが、こんなにカラフルに響くバージョンが聴けて幸せです。アレンジの妙に感動しました。
