このＣＤを購入する前にブロムシュテット指揮によるシューベルト交響曲第8番「ザ・グレイト」を購入して凄く感動したのですが、これまたいいですね。
ド派手な感じではないのですが、グッと迫る感じもあるですが品の良い華やかさがあり、聞いていて疲れず、音楽に浸って、聴き終わると心に豊かなものを残してくれました。

ブロムシュテットの音楽へのアプローチには、いつも人間的な優しさと温もりを感じます。ドレスデンでは１９７５年から８５年まで音楽監督をやっており、初期の演奏はやや朴訥とした感じを受けますが、この頃になるとアンサンブルも美しくなり本来の素朴さの中にも、しっとりとした情緒性が感じられる様になっていると思います。５番、７番共に大変好演奏だと感じました。
