デモベが遂にアニメ化!
しかしこの壮大なスケールの話を1クールでまとめるのはやはり無謀かなあ。
とはいえ原作通りのキャスティングなのは嬉しい。
特典DVDのOUROBOROS RONDOがすごいので星一つ追加で。

ゲーム版をプレイしていて且つ本作をＴＶで見た方は
ご存知のことでしょうが、アニメ化自体はしたものの
放映が1クールとういのが当初からの決定事項の為に
ものすごい消化不良です。
あの話も、この話も出てきません(泣)
ただ、限定版には
「OUROBOROS RONDO」というニトロプラスが作った新作映像が
封入されていますので、ファンの方は「それを」目当てに
買えばいいと思います(笑)

上記でも触れましたが、かなりボリュームのあった
ゲーム版を1クールという放映期間に無理やり詰めているので
初めてこの作品に触れる人には訳が分からない部分が
大多数で出てくるので、評価は☆星３つにしました。

正直、一介の美少女ゲームソフトに過ぎなかったデモンベインが、ここまでくるとは驚きである。勿論Cthulhu神話というネタが、それだけ優れていたということもあろうが、筋立て、キャラクタや音楽、販売戦略に至るまでが、よほど傑出していないとありえないことである。さて今回のアニメだが、ゲームの仕様上ではなく、本質的にマルチエンディングでしかありえない、多元宇宙的かつ因果律破壊的なこの噺を、一直線のわかりやすい筋にまとめるのは極めて困難であることは予想がついた。放送で見ての感想としては、よく努力しておられるのはわかるが、メタトロンを初めてして重要な枝葉を刈り込まざるをえなかった関係上、かなり不自然な展開に甘んじることになったようだ。それでも、あのキャラクタたちが画面で暴れまわっているのは心地よい。Ouroborosの方も、つけたりとは思えないできなのでよし。ただ、あの特製ブックレットというのは何か。４ページって、あれは一枚ものの紙を半分に折っただけではないか。あれなら付けないほうがましというものである。ともあれ、星４つで。
