　ようやく再発されましたね。長かった。
　ヌーノ率いるExtremeの4作目にしてラストアルバム。ヌーノの意図で同じ作風のアルバムは作らないことから、アルバムごとに色が異なっていましたが、この作品は前３作と比べあまりにもファンが望むものとは異なり当時のオルタナティブブームを反映したダークな重い内容でした。そのため、売り上げも一番パッとせずこの作品だけ国内版が廃盤となっておりました。
　しかし自分としてはこの作品のヌーノのギターは前３作と比べ派手さはありませんがリフ、ソロともに非常に生々しく一番かっこいいと思います。（特に２曲目のリフとファンにはお馴染みの６曲目は凄いお気に入り）
　曲はミディアムテンポのもので構成されており、前３作のようなスピード感はありませんが、じっくり楽しめ、スルメのように聴けば聴くほど良さを感じる作品です。

発売当時は、暗い、EXTREMEっぽくない、ということで敬遠していたのですが、
最近は良く聴いています。ヌーノのギターもそうですし、曲のメロディにはっとするものがあります。今ではEXTREMEの中で一番のお気に入りのアルバムです。

nunoはfunk　metalを自負しているが、それが遂に完成したと言っていいアルバム。今までのものより音質の向上による要素もあるが、ドラムが変わったのが大きく、もっともグルーブが出ている曲がポリシーを持ってずらりと並ぶ。たとえば、cupidsdeadは名曲であったが、ドラムラインの絡みが部分的に足りず、孤立していた。しかし、本作では細かいところで絡みがあり非常に格好よい。Voの迫力とヌーノのキレまくるラインにより、funkというよりはあくまで重くベースラインは明らかにメタルであるが、これはなかなかどうして腹の底にくる、癖になるグルーブである。
