メロディーは桑田さんのお家芸で、とてもポップなのですが、
歌詞がとても哀しいです。
メロディーラインのポップさと哀しい歌詞のギャップがたまらない。
最近のシングルは前向きな曲が多くて、なかなか琴線に引っかかる
ことがなかったのですが、この曲は「真夏の果実」や「希望の轍」以来、久しぶりに心に沁みました。

哀しいながらも応援歌になっている所に、キラーストリート以来の桑田さんの心境の変化？のようなものが感じられます。

昔は、男の哀しさを切り取って、素敵なメロディに乗せて歌うことが多かったのですが・・・。

プロモは相変わらず楽しいです。

オススメです。

いつものようなサザンらしさのでた、
懐かしく、それでいて新しさのある心地よく聞ける曲だと感じました。
いつもながら、まさに「夏はサザン」といえる曲ですね。
結構悲しく寂しい歌詞であるんですが、
ぼんやり明るいようなポップに仕上がってるのがなかなか良い。
ドライブなど、外で聞くには最適の一曲だと思います。

「勢い」が強かった昨年の「ＢＯＨＢＯ　Ｎｏ５」と違い、サザンらしい切ない「夏ナンバー」です。

桑田さんいわく、「匿名希望でカミングアウト」なんて言っていましたが、それでもいいと私は思います。

３曲目の「太陽に吼える！！」は昨年ツアーのアンコールで「新曲をやります」といってアドリブ演奏したもの肝心なところでずっこけて「勝手にシンドバット」になってしまうところを思い出しましたが、私の大好きな「桑田佳祐演歌」なところがいいです。
